We don’t bring dead hair follicles back to life, but actually transplant from the area where it’s abundant and move it to areas which require coverage. There are instances where some of the hair is in a dormant state or the follicles if dyeing. This hair can be revived with supplements or medication. If the follicle is completely dead, there is no reviving it. We will address the degree of your hair loss in determine the maximum number of follicles that you’ll need to transplant from the donor area to the recipient area. With people of color, fewer follicles are needed due to the texture of the hair, this means less goes further in terms of coverage.
