We don’t bring dead hair follicles back to life, but actually transplant from the area where it’s abundant and move it to areas which require coverage. There are instances where some of the hair is in a dormant state or the follicles if dyeing. This hair can be revived with supplements or medication. If the follicle is completely dead, there is no reviving it. We will address the degree of your hair loss in determine the maximum number of follicles that you’ll need to transplant from the donor area to the recipient area. With people of color, fewer follicles are needed due to the texture of the hair, this means less goes further in terms of coverage.Am I able to travel with a friend or partner?
Yes, you would be able to travel with a friend or partner. If you are both performing procedures, please get in touch with us for group rate discounts. If accompanying guest are not receiving procedures, all expenses outside of the accommodation would be the responsibility of you or your guest.Do hair FUE transplants really work on black people?
Despite what you’ve been told, hair transplant work with black patients and all people of color. When done with the correct techniques and punch sizes, it is possible. It’s best to work with a competent doctor who has extensive experience working with afro ethnic hair types. It’s important to have realistic expectations based on your degree of hair loss. We take your degree of hair loss, amount of donor hair and head shape into consideration when designing your new hairline. If you like, you may bring an old photo from when your hairline was to satisfaction. We’ll attempt to design it similarly. We may use a laser assisted hairline device for aiding in the design.I want to stay longer and travel around the country. Is it possible?
Yes, we do not place in cap on the amount of time you can stay in the country. The only limitation that may apply is based on your visa and or passport limitations set by the host country. We offer a set number of days for provided accommodation, so anything beyond that would be at your own expense. If you would like us to help provide extended accommodation, please let us know for available pricing or recommendations.Do I need to pay for my procedure in full?
We typically take a deposit to reserve your procedure. The remaining balance should be paid on or near the day your procedure is performed at the clinic or hospital.
